    SUN CAMPER 29

    A NEW EXCLUSIVE HOUSEBOAT

    ABOUT THE MODEL

SunCamper 29 – Comfort in High Quality

The SunCamper 29 yacht was created thanks to many years of experience in the production and operation of its predecessors: the popular SunCamper 30 – Yacht of the Year in Poland in 2010, and the SunCamper 35 – Yacht of the Year in Poland in 2019. By using proven solutions, a model was created that will perform well in various conditions and make your relaxation even more enjoyable.

    BROCHURE

SunCamper 29 – Everything You Need to Know

At first glance, the SunCamper 29 resembles another slightly larger model – the SunCamper 35, which is also very popular. The newer yacht has a modern silhouette, a hydrodynamic hull that serves its purpose, and an impressive interior that will immediately make you feel at home. The SunCamper 29 also features optimal dimensions and weight, making land transport much easier, and maneuvering and docking on water simpler and safer than ever before.

Functionality at an Even Higher Level

The SunCamper 29 houseboat has a very distinctive and functional hull shape. The bow itself is positioned higher and has a “chalice shape,” designed to ensure a “dry” sail even during high waves. Additionally, there is a special gate on the bow, which, combined with a lowered bow ramp, allows for even more convenient landing. To get from the bow to the beach or shallow shore, you can use an additional ladder.

    An Interior That Immediately Impresses

The SunCamper 29 was designed to have a functional and highly aesthetic interior. One of its most important features is the large and glazed deckhouse, which houses 2 cabins, a salon-wheelhouse, and a bathroom. Both the bright deckhouse and the cockpit are covered with a roof with two sliding covers. The covers can be easily opened, allowing for better ventilation and sunlight. The rear cover is designed in such a way that, if desired, solar panels can be mounted on it. The interior is also very well lit with natural light, thanks to the large window surfaces of the deckhouse and the glazed, sliding rear doors, which provide visibility in all directions. In case of bad weather, you can easily unfold the tent hidden under the roof, which will cover the cockpit and protect against rain and wind.

    Space That Provides Maximum Comfort

The functional interior of the deckhouse has been designed to meet even the highest requirements. First of all, it features a spacious and lockable fore cabin with a double bow berth, a dog berth, and a bathroom. Both the cabin and the bathroom are properly lit and ventilated. The left side of the salon has a comfortable dinette with a table and comfortable seats for four people. The dinette can be converted into an additional two sleeping places by lowering the table. The salon-wheelhouse has a kitchen module with a sink, gas stove, refrigerator, cabinet, and practical drawers. Under the floor of the salon-wheelhouse, there are essential tanks for water and all “life” batteries, which are easily accessible. Behind the dinette, there is a comfortable double aft cabin. Inside, you will find all the necessary equipment, such as cabinets, storage spaces, and lighting lamps. Just in front of the deckhouse is a very cozy fore cockpit with seating for three people and space for a deck chair.

Safety of Navigation Even on Shallow Waters

The SunCamper 29 was designed to perform excellently on various types of water bodies. Among other things, it is also easy to navigate on relatively shallow waters. This is possible thanks to the use of three longitudinal bottom guides. These protect both the hull bottom and the engine’s propeller from potential underwater obstacles and provide good course stability and low drift when turning. All this makes sailing even safer.

    Diverse Propulsion and Economical Operation

The recommended propulsion for the SunCamper 29 are outboard engines, known as “trolling motors,” with powers ranging from 25 to 60 HP. For people without motorboat licenses, “trolling” engines with 40 – 60 HP are recommended, allowing speeds of up to 15 km/h. At the economical speed of about 10 km/h, the SunCamper 29’s engine consumes up to 3 liters of gasoline per hour. To complement the standard outboard engine propulsion, versions with a stationary diesel engine with 20 or 30 HP have also been developed, allowing maximum speeds of 12 – 14 km/h. For an environmentally friendly electric propulsion with a simple shaft, engines with 8 – 15 kW powered by batteries with a safe voltage of up to 50 V are planned. Such a houseboat should reach a maximum speed of 10 – 12 km/h.

Easy Land Transport (No Pilot Required)

It is enabled by the moderate weight of the unit over 3 tons, a width of 3 m, and a transport height on a car trailer of about 3.8 m (underpasses up to 4m). The SunCamper 29 offers countless possibilities for safe cruising, providing space and comfort, and the modern design and the ability to choose the colors of both the hull and the interiors will allow you to personalize the project to your needs and make you feel at home right away.

The SunCamper 29 is based on many years of experience from the production and operation of its award-winning predecessors: the popular SunCamper 30, which received the title YACHT OF THE YEAR IN POLAND in 2010, and the best-selling SunCamper 35 – winner of the YACHT OF THE YEAR IN POLAND 2019 award. Both models were produced by BALT-YACHT in quantities of over 100 units each. The long-term operation of these houseboats on thousands of kilometers of various canals, rivers, lakes, as well as locks and slopes throughout Europe has confirmed the validity of the concept for both family tourism and charters. The new SunCamper 29 was designed by the experienced design office Centkowski & Denert Design Studio from Gdańsk, which has over 180 projects of various boats and yachts realized in over 80,000 units, sailing in many countries. The designers from the Gdańsk design office have many successful projects to their credit, including houseboats: SunCamper 30, SunCamper 35, Balt-818 Tytan, Janmor 700, and popular motor yachts: Merry Fisher, Quicksilver, and Arvor. The SunCamper 29 is stylistically similar to the larger SunCamper 35 and stands out among other constructions of this type with its modern silhouette, excellent hydrodynamic hull, and functional interior layout. Its optimal dimensions and low weight allow for land transport, and on water, they facilitate maneuvering and docking in crowded ports, entering locks, passing under low bridges, or even bow-landing directly on the beach.
